Too much time and energy at UCT are being spent on political grandstanding that harms the university’s reputation and distracts from what truly matters: students, research, and academic integrity. The upcoming Convocation AGM is the one forum where graduates can reclaim UCT’s direction and ensure that the university’s priorities reflect excellence, not ideology.

To participate, you must register by Friday, 14 November 2025. This is a firm deadline with no late entries. It only takes two minutes, and you will need your student number to complete registration.

Register for the AGM because this is when UCT sets its academic and financial priorities. If you care about UCT’s future, your participation matters now more than ever.
